Sadly, Nigel passed away on 1st October at the age of 85. He was Georgina Clough's father and a member of the NWVYC for over 25 years, having joined in 1991. Nigel was also the Club Auditor for a time. He and Georgina owned "Georgie Girl" a Leisure 17 which they sailed in the Strait. From 1967 when they moved from Halifax, Nigel and his late wife Nancy were near neighbours and friends of John and Jenny Partington in Wilmslow. They had children of similar ages and would often go on holiday together when their children were young.
